Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of Moddo, an app by Noramis. By using the app, you agree to them.

The app

Moddo lets you build custom widgets for iPhone and iPad, with elements connected to Apple data, the web, Shortcuts or values you type. It works without an account. Your data stays on your device and in your private iCloud.

Third-party data

Some sources show data from third-party services, such as weather, exchange rates, crypto, stocks, air quality, GitHub and Wikipedia. This data can be delayed, unavailable or wrong. It is for information only and is not financial, medical or any other kind of advice. Health data is read from the Health app and does not replace a professional.

Moddo Plus

Some features are part of Moddo Plus, an auto-renewable subscription sold through the App Store, monthly or yearly.

  • The price and period are shown before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account.
  • The yearly plan may include a free trial. When the trial ends, the subscription starts unless you cancel before.
  • The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel it in the Settings app, under your Apple Account, in Subscriptions.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its own rules.

Your content

Widgets, photos, text and everything you add are yours. You are responsible for what you add and for the addresses you connect to the app.

Sharing and importing

  • When you share a widget, anyone with the link or QR code can see and copy it. Share only what you have the right to share: no photos of other people without their consent, nothing illegal, offensive or that infringes someone else’s rights.
  • You keep the rights to what you share and allow other people to import and use a copy for personal use.
  • You can stop sharing at any time. Copies already imported stay with those who imported them.
  • We may remove a shared widget that breaks these terms.
  • Widgets you import were made by other people. Check the addresses of web sources before authorizing them. We are not responsible for content created by others.

Allowed use

Do not use the app for anything illegal, and do not try to copy, modify or reverse engineer it, or to overload or misuse the sharing service.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, icons, templates and texts belong to Noramis. Open source components keep their own licenses.

Apple

These terms are between you and Noramis, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to maintain or support the app. Your use must also follow the App Store terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.

Warranty and liability

The app is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will never have errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages from using the app. Nothing here limits the rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil.
